Book Exchange at Assemble

Assemble_web

East End Book Exchange heads to Bloomfield/Garfield! Pittsburgh’s pop-up used bookstore will appear at Assemble on Saturday, August 27th from 10 – 4PM. Assemble is the latest addition to the Penn Avenue Arts District. Known for its provocative, interactive art installations, Assemble is a community space for art and technology located at 5125 Penn Avenue. East End Books will be selling books, as well as accepting donations and trade-ins.  More information about the East End Book Exchange can be found, here or on our facebook page.

East End Book Exchange was founded in the summer of 2011 on two simple ideas: love of books and love of Pittsburgh. We are a pop-up used bookstore dedicated to connecting book lovers and books in the heart of Pittsburgh’s East End. Each weekend we appear in a community space or local business in a different neighborhood. We offer three distinct services: we sell used books, we accept books for donation or store credit, and we offer trade-ins. Over the last month, we have been in the Strip District and Squirrel Hill, and we are soon to head to the Bloomfield/Garfield area. Call it the Bookworm’s Tour de Pittsburgh. This is our way meeting fellow book lovers and exploring this city we love so much.
